Regional Restructure of the ASA David Sparkes, the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) Chief Executive, has published a statement explaining the restructure, which can be downloaded from www.southeastswimming.org or www.britishswimming.org.
The Regional Management Board has issued its own statement to reassure clubs and members that the Region is working hard to clarify the role and responsibilities of the new posts to ensure that our clubs and members are provided with the best advice and support available from the ASA staff and any regional staff appointed as a result.

Sussex CPD Day
On the Sunday 15th February Sussex County asa held its first CPD day. The day was designed specifically for volunteers in the swimming community to increase their knowledge and understanding, develop their skills and gain CPD points and qualifications.
There were seminars and workshops in a number of crucial areas including Child Protection, Team Managing, and Coaching Equity. There was also an opportunity to learn and share good practice on other important issues such as funding opportunities and club administration.
