In spite of the weather, last week saw the youth sporting Sussex Golf Development Academy ‘Try Out’ Days shine brightly at three key Golf Centres across Sussex:- Royal Eastbourne Golf Club, Chartham Park Golf & Country Club in East Grinstead and Rustington Golf Centre. With over 180 children participating in golf over the 3 days the “Try Out” days were a massive hit!

Young footballers from Burgess Hill School for Girls played their first football match of the season and finished with a win. The group of novice, but enthusiastic girls, aged between eight and ten years, played at Southdown Football Club against the junior home team on Saturday 30 January.
