Sadie Mason
Partnership Director
Sadie was appointed as Partnership Director in August 2005, and is the Chief Executive Officer with overall responsibility for the Trusts business and financial operations. Sadie leads a team of 7 full-time, and 2 part-time professional officers and has a dual role as Company Secretary to the Trust. The role includes working with senior sports development professionals in East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton & Hove to strategically support and influence the development of local sports policy and partners’ delivery plans. The position also involves strategic liaison with national, regional, county and local organisations (Sport England, Skills Active, and local government amongst others) to ensure national policy information is disseminated and translated locally, and to ensure local priorities are represented at regional and national level.
Sadie also works with other senior officers in the Trust to support funding applications for sports facilities and new programme development. Sadie is also a former international basketball player, and currently volunteers as club and county basketball coach. Michelle Collier
Business Support Manager
Michelle was appointed the Business Support Manager (formerly Operations Manager) for the Sussex County Sports Partnership Trust in 2002 as a key member of the Business Support and Senior Management Team.
The role includes: Being responsible for all operational issues related to the management of the SCSPT; Planning, implementing and monitoring operational systems in accordance with the Trusts’ Handbook, and ensuring effective and efficient service delivery across all areas of the organisation’s activities; Managing and monitoring the Trusts income, grants and sponsorships and being responsible for all payments in accordance with Trust policy and as directed by the Partnership Director; Providing line management for the Business Support Officer and coordinating support to the Trust - in relation to customer services, communication, publicity, the Trusts governing groups, events, projects and performance management processes; Sharing in organisational business planning as a member of the Trusts Senior Management Team; Ensuring effective team working in delivering general office support functions.
Michelle enjoys cycling, walks in the countryside, swimming, travelling, camping, visiting National Trust properties, meals out and socialising with friends. Sally Harper
Sports Development Manager (NGB and Workforce)
Sally joined the Sussex County Sports Partnership Trust in early 2008 after 19 years experience in local government sports and partnership management at Mid Sussex and Lewes District Councils. She is the client manager for NGB relations, lead safeguarding in sport officer, she supports a number of Community Sports Networks and has overall responsibility for workforce development (both volunteers and paid professionals). She also manages the Sports Development Officer, the Coaching Development Manager and any sports specific development officers that the CSP directly employs.
Sally has always been very passionate about physical activity and has played many sports at club or county level. Currently she enjoys cycling or walks in the countryside and watching her sons play cricket or football.

Geraldine Bloomfield (Née Bailey)
Marketing and Business Development Manager
Geraldine joined the Partnership in September 2005. Since then she has successfully led on our marketing, communications and events function, delivering such projects as our brand ‘rejuvenation’ and events, like the Gatwick Diamond Games and the Sussex Sports Awards. After bringing a bouncing baby boy into the world and her maternity leave, Geraldine has taken up a fresh position as Marketing & Business Development Manager. The role aligns specifically with Sport England’s new core requirement to support partnerships with National Governing Bodies of Sport; increase adult sports participation; and promote the ‘5-hour offer’ for young people and publicise the Sport Unlimited initiative. The other principal aspect involved is using social marketing methods employed by the Department of Health to increase physical activity to benefit health and well-being in the county. The business development proportion of the role includes work on funding, income and sponsorship to support our services.
Geraldine loves living in Hove near to the front - spending a lot of time running or cycling up and down it in preparation for triathlons. Her other great loves include travel; eating out; camping; skiing; diving and, of course, her family.

Anthony Statham
Coaching Development Manager
Anthony joined the Sussex County Sports Partnership Trust in November 2009 after several years experience as the Sports & Recreations Manager at De Montfort University in Leicester.
Funded by Sport England and supported by sports coach UK, Anthony has the responsibility for managing the development of a local Coaching System Support Network to support coaches at community level in response to identified need. Working closely with the governing bodies of sport and key regional and local partners, he will support the development of an effective and sustainable coaching system at a local level.
Anthony is a keen sportsman with a particular passion for cricket. Aside from playing, he has also committed his time to volunteering as a coach, secretary and Club Mark coordinator.

Jo Irving
Sports Development and Projects Officer
Jo was appointed as Sports Development and Projects Officer in March 2008. This position specifically focuses on club, coach and volunteer development across Sussex, the main areas of work being the Sport England Clubmark accreditation scheme, the Community Sports Coach Scheme and the Step Into Sport programme for young volunteers. The role has now developed to manage the Sport Unlimited programme for Sussex, which funds sporting projects across the county to contribute to the national Government participation targets. This role works closely with Sport England, sports coach UK, Youth Sport Trust and our county partnership network to develop sport in Sussex.

Donna Imrie
Active Workplace Officer
Donna was appointed as the Active and Healthy Workplace Officer in September 2008 to lead on this new area for the partnership. The role includes working with key partners and employers to increase and develop the range of workplace health opportunities across the county. This position offers advice, guidance and support to employers across the county in relation to workplace health, with a specific focus on physical activity, sport, mental health and nutrition.
Donna played basketball for a number of years and now enjoys cycling, going to the gym and is willing to give most sports a try.

Stephanie Mizon
Events & Communications Officer
Stephanie was appointed the Events and Communications Officer for the Sussex County Sports Partnership Trust in 2008 as a key member of the Marketing and Communications Team. The role includes coordinating and administering all the SCSPT events including Sussex Games, Sussex Parallel Youth Games, Sussex Sports Awards, Business of Community Sport Conference and the Active Sussex Network. The position also involves coordinating the production of online and offline communications including the Annual Report, SportsTalk, eNews, and all other promotional collateral in conjunction with the Marketing and Business Development Manager.

Rachel Land
Sussex Physical Activity (Inclusion) Co-ordinator
Rachel joined the Sussex County Sports Partnership in September 2009 in a new role for the partnership. The role includes working with key partners to develop, coordinate and deliver inclusive physical activity programmes across the County, with the aim of increasing the number of people achieving the recommended levels of physical activity. This position has a specific focus to deliver initiatives and opportunities for targeting under-represented and hard-to-reach groups, those who are least active and communities where health inequalities are prevalent.

Mim Trotter
Business Support Officer (Finance and HR)
Mim was appointed as Business Support Officer (Finance and HR) for the Sussex County Sports Partnership Trust in February 2008. She is a member of the Business Support Team which provides administrative support for the work of the SCSPT. The role involves particular responsibility for financial processing and record keeping, using Quickbooks accounting software, as well as liaison with the SCSPT’s payroll agents and other HR administration. The role is part-time. Mim works one day a week at the SCSPT (usually Mondays).

Miguel Tello
Sussex Basketball Development Officer
Miguel joined the Sussex County Sports Partnership Trust in December 2009 after several years working for Sport Development in the Brighton & Hove City Council as well as being a basketball coach.
Miguel’s post is funded by England Basketball and Sussex Basketball to increase basketball opportunities for everyone in the county. The objectives include creating new basketball competitions, reinforce school/club links, facilitate officiating courses were needed and working closely with clubs to increase accreditation level.
